Let's Encrypt At Scale

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Created in 2014, Let's Encrypt is a free, automated certificate authority that allows anyone to get TLS certificates for their domains.

Getting started with Let's Encrypt is easy, but using it to manage TLS certificates at scale presents some unique challenges.

This session will explore how we recently migrated the MongoDB Atlas fleet to use Let's Encrypt, how we securely deploy TLS certificates in an automated way, and what you will need to consider before making similar moves in your organization.

You will come away understanding how MongoDB Atlas customers’ security has been improved by this change, and how to get started hardening your own application’s infrastructure with Let’s Encrypt.
